Welcome back students! I hope you enjoyed your summer vacation. Let's make this an awesome 2017-2018 school year!
Have YOU filled a bucket today? If you don't know what that means, let me tell you. Filling a bucket means doing something kind for someone. For example, did you open the door for someone who had their hands full? Did you give a classmate a compliment? Did you use your manners with adults and kids? Did you share your pencils with the classmate who did not have one? These are mere examples of nice things that you can do on a daily basis to surround yourself in positivity. The more people do or say nice things for others, the more conflicts will decrease. When you do something nice for someone, it will be easy for them to return the favor. So again I ask you, HAVE YOU FILLED A BUCKET TODAY?
If you or someone you know is a victim of bullying, please report it to a trusted adult IMMEDIATELY! No one has the right to bully, intimidate or frighten you. You have the right to feel safe at home, school and in the neighborhood. If we all speak up for ourselves and/or others, we can stop bullying from happening. Remember--YOU have the voice to make this happen. STOP BULLYING NOW!
